Much-painted Highland Light in Truro was moved back from an eroding cliff above the Atlantic beach some 20 years ago, But I have rarely seen it painted from behind - that is, from the path that leads back to it from the soaring cliff and past all manner of seacoast vegetation including - in late summer - the gorgeously blooming Goldenrod. In this scene, some high fog as started moving in from the northwest.
